"How's the weather upstairs, Commander Kosis?" I asked, entering the Main Command centre of the Nautilus.

"Some cloud cover but generally okay and warm, Captain" the commander replied. "The weather map looks pretty good."

"Okay, Let's take her topside, and rack the air scrubbers and vents up to full speed the moment we break the surface." The air had gotten pretty stale since our last contact with the surface.

"Aye, Aye, sir." Commander Kosis replied.
